Unusual and Interesting Photos

Part 1 :

1. The pictures were indeed unusual and interesting. The photos looked as if they moved and left a shadow behind.

2. There might have been many ways to do the effect. I think he may have moved the camera on the split second that the shutter takes to snap the photo or may have used some graphic effect on the computer.

3. I think the tall buildings we have in downtown austin would be pretty good, maybe at night when the  place looks alive. It might be hard to take the photos if they were taken at night from being too crowded.

Part 2 :

1. I picked this photo because the scenery of the water was very pretty,which had captured my attention at first glance.

2. Photojournalist of the year(smaller markets).

3. 3rd Place .

4. The photographer had timed when the sunset had highlighted the water.

5. It was probably hard picking, but comparing from the others, i would have to say that this photo was the most colorful and had a beautiful scenery that got it chosen to be one of the best.

6. Having an ocean background is kind of common knowing it would be pretty, but how the photographer had added the people carrying the candles/lanterns had made it unique, making the little lights stand out on the darker part of the picture.

                                                                                                                                 

1. Just looking at the picture, you can tell that they were suffering, the reason i picked this one was because this photo showed how courageous they were.

4. How they were huddled up in the foggy cold weather its showing.

5. This did not get placed since it was just an ordinary photo, instead it was called as an "honorable mention" since it showed their bravery.

6. The photographer had to get it on the right time and place, to capture the moment that truly shows the hardship of being a firefighter.

                                                                                                                                 

1. I really liked how this photo was very defined and zoomed in.

4. How the photo was taken at the certain angle.

5. In my opinion, this one had the most defined background which had made it hard to choose from the others.

6. The photographer had taken the photo from under.

Part 3 :

1. The connection you have with the pictures your taking, how the light is focused/reflecting on the object and the angle your shooting the photo at.

4. They are about similar, making the photo very clear, closed up, and focused on what's inside of the flower.

5. Poppy- By Georgia O'Keeffe , She likes to take pictures that are focused on something and closed up, just like how i would like to.
